This week, as One Step Towards Communities in Nature draws closer to its end, we had the joyful task of rounding up a bumper crop of tomatoes from the beautiful community garden at Veterans REORG, Vernon Place Community Hub.
Andy from Boys and Girls Clubs of Wales proudly displayed the harvest, which was then laid out for all members of the hub community to enjoy. It’s moments like these that remind us how powerful nature, teamwork, and shared spaces can be in bringing people together.
A huge thank you to the National Lottery Community Fund for making projects like this possible, and to everyone who has helped nurture the garden and support our vision. The results are truly being shared by the whole community, and that’s what One Step Towards Communities in Nature is all about. 🌿
Cynhaeaf i’w Gofio yng Nghanolfan Gymunedol Vernon Place 🍅
Yr wythnos hon, wrth i Un Cam tuag at Gymunedau yn y Natur nesáu at ei ben, cafwyd y dasg hyfryd o gasglu cynhaeaf gwych o famogion o ardd gymunedol Veterans REORG yn y Ganolfan Gymunedol Vernon Place.
Roedd Andy o Glybiau Bechgyn a Merched Cymru yn falch o ddangos y cynhaeaf, a roddwyd allan i’r gymuned gyfan sy’n mynychu’r ganolfan i’w fwynhau. Mae eiliadau fel hyn yn dangos grym natur, cydweithio a mannau cymunedol wrth ddod â phobl ynghyd.
Diolch enfawr i Grŵp Cymunedol y Loteri Genedlaethol am alluogi prosiectau fel hyn, ac i bawb sydd wedi helpu i feithrin yr ardd a chefnogi ein gweledigaeth. Mae’r canlyniadau’n cael eu rhannu gan y gymuned gyfan, a dyna’n union yw ystyr Un Cam tuag at Gymunedau yn y Natur. 🌿
